No Audio

Has it really been this long? I took a bit of a hiatus, after which I decided to do some computer upgrades. Ever since, I've had no audio. From what I can tell, it's a case of the new versions of Itunes fighting with the onboard sound card on my motherboard; blah, blah, blah...
Anyhow, I've a new soundcard in the mail and should be up and running shortly. In the meantime I may put out a few Ye Olde Tyme written blog entries, because I do have a lot of stuff to yammer on about, as well as new photos to put up. Some of those photos include the snapshots I took today of the store we've been working on in Chinatown...done!

We'll have to go back for punchlist stuff, of course, but we pulled all the tools out and mopped the floors today. It looks quite a bit better than I thought it would, though-like any store-without merchandise, it's more than a little bland.

I hope this finds everyone well. I am. There is no need to pester other bloggers regarding my health, but I do appreciate the kind thoughts behind that action.

Really it's just that by the time I've spent anhour and a half trying to get the audio working, I'm either too tired or too angry to speak to you, the gentle reader.

  2. Glad to hear your alive and well Don.
Always remember and never forget...frustration is the root of all cursing.lol
I find it extremely easy to use blankdy blank words when dealing with my computer, and for some reason I keep coming back. Why is that?
Love those photos, keep them coming!

  3. I only read people's blogs looking for mention of your having been institutionalized , I didn't actually contact anyone.

The gentle reader? Have you been reading Victorian historical fiction?

You know, if you'd just get a Mac, you wouldn't have to do so much cursing and then maybe you'd actually have the energy to yammer.
